For those wondering, I am now using my scarce spare time to update my own private radio stream management tool, to save me more time in adding/fixing radio streams that come with a download of the Steam Radio Apps. Once this is there (should not take longer than a week), I will work on a smaller iPad-Version update, so that the app supports Portrait Layout, as many people put their iPad in their docks for listening.
Depending on what Apple will present this week, I will also include any necessary adaptions for e.g. an iPad 3 in that update – if needed.
For the people who wondered: Sales of Steam Radio App for the Mac until now are only a small fraction of those for iOS. If you are considering to sell Apps, and wondering if Mac OS X is a worthwhile platform – well I have my doubts. It might but only if you spend marketing bucks, and have a true killer app. I’m saying this, because even with these low sales, I was sitting in the top ten “Entertainment” Apps in Switzerland for about two weeks. That sais all.
